WHY A DOUBLE RECORD??

Why not? This album was brought upon by yet another lockdown here in Austria. I'm not shitting on it. I actually love getting paid to stay home and write music. If 1 record is nice tho....2 records has to be better right?? I started writing and the songs were coming really easy. Like one a day sometimes. I got to about 14-15 brand new tunes and wondered if I should keep going and make this a 2 album set. Would the songs be as good as these first 14? Would it be just forcing it at this point to get to 29-30 songs?? I didn't want that. However, when you have one of the best song writers that you know already in the band then the rest of this is simple. I asked Matt if he would be interested in writing a full albums worth of material and not just a tune here or there like he has done for past Jagger releases. People often ask us about the songs Matt does in this band and if they are leftover DeeCRACKS songs? Is it new stuff? Solo stuff? I really don't know the answer. I think the poppy-er kind of stuff ends up in the Jagger side. When the 3 of us make music then that is Jagger Holly. That's the answer I go with. So here we are. You are reading this and hopefully enjoying the work we put into it. Our studio we usually use in Innsbruck was shutdown for a full year but the show must go on. That "show" turned out to take us all across Austria/Italy. Some at this studio some at that studio. Klagenfurt/Vienna/Innsbruck/Venice. So many special guests appear on this record and I can't thank them enough. Covid scares and cancelled trains/planes, People sick, People getting fired and re-hired just to be fired again. It wasn't easy. Who says it was supposed to be easy tho? I mean is it the best double album ever made??? ... Maybe.

Recorded at various times at Lesder Studio, Pegel Studio, Elephantwest Studio, Work Station, and Electric Ladyboy Land Studios.
