I am super pumped about this one. DEEDS is always an excellent example of what a pop punker should aspire towards in terms of unrelenting productivity and the do-it-yourself mentality.

When he first informed me that he and Ced were working on ONLY THE BEAST it blew my mind. What a killer idea. Ced's an insanely talented metal guy who's got pop punk close to his heart. So I never stopped hassling DEEDS about whether he and Ced would be tackling another of these full band, full studio sound "Best Of" records.

They did. Fuck yeah.

Cedrick Forsberg blessed me with his metal Midas touch on Only the Beast in 2017, and it was obvious that it would be the best-sounding Deeds release to date. Why stop at one? I've got the songs, he's got the skills - so it was time for Volume "Too"! He even wrote the first song on the album!

Matt Bennett honored me by asking him to join the OUTLOUD! family back when I was just a weird teacher recording songs in my car (not much has changed). I'm forever indebted to him for his generosity and support over the years. Thanks for putting up with my crazy bullshit!
